Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of Link Meet, an online appointment-booking service operated by Ruben Marques, tax ID 248905724 ("we", "Link Meet"). By creating an account or using a practitioner's public booking page, you accept these terms.
What the service is
Link Meet lets health practitioners and clinics manage availability, publish a page where their clients can book appointments, and automate the confirmations, reminders, and forms tied to those bookings. Some features depend on external integrations (for example, Google Calendar) that the practitioner chooses to turn on.
Account and responsibility for content
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity carried out from your account.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you publish on your page (services, prices, cancellation policies) and for the notes and data you enter about your clients.
- You may not use the service for illegal purposes, or to publish misleading content or content that violates third parties' rights.
Health data and clinical notes
If you enter session notes or other health information about your clients, you're responsible for ensuring you have a legal basis to do so (for example, the client's consent or the professional relationship you already have with them) and for meeting the professional and ethical obligations of your field. Link Meet provides the tool; the clinical relationship and your obligations as a professional remain yours.
Bookings made by clients
When a client books an appointment through a practitioner's public page, that client accepts the terms and cancellation policy set by that practitioner. Link Meet provides the booking, notification, and video-call infrastructure, but is not a party to the relationship between the practitioner and their client.
Service availability
We make a reasonable effort to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features that depend on third parties (for example, calendar sync or email delivery) may be affected by outages outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Link Meet is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service, including loss of bookings, clients, or revenue. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, namely in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Cancellation and suspension
You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting contacto@link-meet.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with advance notice whenever reasonably possible.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to active accounts before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Castelo Branco, Portugal.
